Speakers at our 3rd Industry Day include:
Mark Davies from Lyon Equipment
Mark will be giving a presentation on selecting appropriate and suitable PPE for your staff and customers taking into account the law, regulations & ENs.
Stephen Flanagan
Stephen worked for the HSE as a principal investigator and now works as a consultant in health & safety cases. He will be talking about completing suitability and risk assessments when introducing new PPE and safety systems. He will be covering the legal aspect and showing examples of a detailed and comprehensive assessment taking into account human factors and ergonomics and the potential for human error.
James Willis from Activities Industry Mutual (AIM)
James will be talking on clothing, jewellery, hair, age, height and weight and what is needed to fight the unmeritorious (90%) claims successfully.
Representatives from a variety of PPE manufacturers and resellers including Edelrid and Adventure Climb Rescue will also be at the day.
Cost: £45 per head plus VAT. Lunch and refreshments will be provided on the day.
