Course Concept

ERCA certified trainers who already possess the 'ERCA traditional high + low ropes course trainer' award are invited to attend this special course to gain the 'ERCA temporary low ropes course trainer' award in addition. The 2-day course fulfills the requirements for refreshing all your former trainer awards. The course language is English.

The 2-day course will provide attendees with theoretical and practical knowledge to build, run and train temporary ropes course programmes. Henning Böhmer and Georg Schmitz, your course leaders, invented a great variety of special techniques for how to use sports-climbing and lifting equipment in low ropes course application over the last decades. They will introduce you with all the ropes, hooks, slings, ratches, etc. You will be impressed how easy this can be transported in boxes/backpacks and how flexible this can be used to involve groups in adventure based learning.

The course is designed as a workshop and give you the great opportunity to experience the temporary activities very practical. In addition we assume having a great knowledge exchange for reason that there are only very experienced trainer colleagues on the course. So come, take part and enjoy a worthwhile time with Henning and Georg.
