The conference will take place from Monday, 31 January to Wednesday, 2 February 2011. The venue is at Hohenwart-Forum in Hohenwart (nearby Pforzheim, Germany).

As in previous years, some of the preconferences already start on Saturday (29/01/11) and Sunday (30/01/11).

All the organizational information (registration, accomodation, schedule, etc. ..) and detailed descriptions of the workshops/ preconference can be found on our dedicated conference website (http://www.erca.cc/events/agm2011/ ). There you can also sign up via an online form or submit your own workshop proposals.

The conference is to be on the 1^st and 2^nd December 2010 and will take place at Liddington - PGL’s newest centre near Swindon in Wiltshire. It includes world experts in their respective fields and a highly entertaining key note speaker.

In the four days preceding the conference, ERCA has organised specialist training courses for those involved in the ropes course industry. ERCA has negotiated exceptionally favourable rates for these courses with a view to promoting the highest standards in the ropes course industry.

A ropes course guidance document compiled by ERCA and several leading UK Authorities for all those involved in the UK ropes course industry. It will be updated annually so it will always reflect current good working practice in the ropes course industry. 2010 version available.

ERCA - Recommendations on Rescuing 2010

The rescue working group’s conclusions regarding different rescue systems on rope courses are now available to members. The report is available to members in the download section of ERCA.cc and it will appear shortly in book form with other reports.

The document has the status of an ERCA recommendation for Germany.

The transferability of the recommendation to other countries is still to be tested.

It was approved by the ERCA editorial office on 10th May 2010.
